Current SharePoint Challenge(s):
SharePoint 2007 security architecture has become more standardized and
provides more consistent capabilities across the platform, however along
with this new architecture and security features comes more complex
management and reporting tasks. Some of the current challenges around user
site security are:
- No holistic site security view.
SharePoint does not provide a holistic view of where a user or group
DOES or DOES NOT have access across the environment. SharePoint's out of
the box view is limited to single site collections and does not display
entire site hierarchies.
- Multiple ways a user can have access.
There are a multitude of ways a user can be given access within

- Web Application Policies override
